Fadel Shaker is handed over to the Lebanese Army

Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker surrendered himself to Lebanese Army Intelligence on October 4, 2025, after more than 13 years. This step came after security threats to which he was exposed inside the Ain al-Hilweh camp, where he had been residing since 2013.

The artist Mohamed Fadl Shaker also previously revealed his father’s advice to him in his artistic career, as he said during his interview with Cairo 24: My father’s first and permanent advice to me is to be humble no matter what happens, and no matter how successful a person is, he must remain humble and kind to people, and this is my most precious commandment.

For his part, Fadl Shaker issued a statement during the recent period in which he revealed his innocence, as the statement came in the media in which he revealed the details of what he described as the injustice to which he was exposed over the course of more than 13 years, confirming his innocence of the charges against him, which he said were the result of narrow political score-settling.
