His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Mr. Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States of America.
During the call, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas were reviewed, as His Highness stressed that the agreement reached to end the war in Gaza is a day for peace in the Middle East and the world, expressing the appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Highness’s appreciation for the efforts of His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the friendly United States of America, and his support for peace in the Middle East. His sponsorship of this historic agreement, stressing the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of this agreement, the importance of the parties to the conflict’s commitment and responsibility for its implementation, and appreciation for the efforts of the mediators to reach this agreement.
The call also emphasized the depth of the close historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America, which continue to grow and advance based on the strategic partnerships, constructive cooperation and joint agreements that bring the two countries together, the most recent of which was the Comprehensive Agreement on Security Integration and Prosperity. His Highness pointed to the mutual keenness to strengthen all paths of cooperation and joint coordination, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and aspirations.
