The security services in Luxor Governorate are intensifying their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident where the body of a young man was found with a gunshot wound to the neck inside his home in the Arment El-Heit area, under mysterious circumstances.

The beginning was when the Armant Police Station received a report from the people that the young man, Mahmoud Muhammad Reda, aged 30, had been found dead inside his residence on Al-Baqaqa Street. Immediately, a force from the Criminal Investigation Department moved to the site of the accident, and the competent authorities were notified.
Upon initial examination and inspection, it was found that the victim was shot in the neck, leading to his immediate death, while no signs of violence or broken windows were observed in the house, which suggests that the accident occurred from inside the residence under mysterious circumstances.

The body was transferred to the morgue of Horus Specialized Hospital in Arment, affiliated with the Health Care Authority, at the disposal of the investigating authorities, who ordered the appointment of a forensic doctor to perform an autopsy and determine the exact cause of death, in preparation for completing the investigations.
The detective teams are currently working on scanning the surveillance cameras near the site of the accident, and hearing the statements of witnesses and neighbors, in order to reach any clue that leads to uncovering the mystery of the crime and arresting its perpetrator as quickly as possible.
