The educational directorates announced the method for calculating yearly work grades for the first and second grades of secondary school studying in the current academic year 2025-26, which came as follows:
Grades for year’s work in the first year of secondary school (baccalaureate and general secondary school)
15% first month test
15% second month test
10% for behavior and attendance
15% of class and assignment sheets
15% weekly evaluation
30% for the end of the first semester exam
30% for the end of the second semester exam
Grades for year’s work in the second year of secondary school (baccalaureate and general secondary school)
15% first month test
15% second month test
10% for behavior and attendance

15% weekly evaluation
30% for the end of the first semester exam

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced that, in reference to the directives issued to pay the fees of official language schools and official distinguished language schools through postal outlets and contracted companies, and in view of the many questions received from all directorates about the measures being taken regarding the collection of general secondary school fees, the following was decided:
Fees for public and distinguished language schools for general secondary school
Payments for official language schools and distinguished official language schools for the secondary education stage will be collected for the academic year 2025/2026 as previously done.
The share of the General Administration of official language schools and distinguished language schools is supplied to account number 9450874939 at the Central Bank of Egypt, and the shares of the relevant authorities are supplied no later than 7 working days from the date of collection.
