Dr. Ahmed Nabawi, a professor at Al-Azhar University, warned of the danger of cheating in exams, especially when some parents facilitate or participate in it, stressing that this lays the basic building block for bringing out a corrupt person into society.

Dr. Nabawi said, during television statements, that the cheater, no matter how successful he appears on the surface, is a loser in the sight of God, because cheating deprives society of a true assessment of the individual’s qualifications and places the unqualified into positions that do not suit their abilities, which weakens the quality of work and education and develops behavior that justifies taking what does not belong to the person.
He pointed to realistic observations of video clips showing mothers removing Bluetooth headphones to enable their children to cheat, or other innovative methods, considering that such behavior is education for corruption, and preys on the son’s future as it makes his conscience dull and accustoms him to relying on trickery instead of seriousness and diligence.
He added that cheating begins with the idea of taking what is not his right, then it is justified within the soul and becomes a behavioral system that justifies allegations and major sins, pointing out its impact on the loss of trustworthiness and the principle of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: “If the matter is entrusted to people who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour.”
Dr. Nabawi called: Do not justify cheating or facilitate it, as the real evaluation in the exam is necessary to enable the individual to obtain an appropriate position at the university or at work, and to preserve the public trust and the well-being of society in the long term.
