The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. confirmed Abdul Latif Al-Zayani stressed the importance of continuing joint cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany in all political, economic and cultural fields, while reflecting the depth of cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, renewable energy and education, and the shared vision for a sustainable, prosperous and interconnected future.
This came during a reception held by the German Embassy in the Kingdom on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of German Unity Day, in the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Musallam, a number of ministers, members of the Shura and Representatives Councils, and ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries accredited to the Kingdom and those invited.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the congratulations of the leadership and people of Bahrain to the government and people of Germany on this occasion, stressing that the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and the directions of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is proud of the friendship and solid partnership with Germany.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Henning Simon and his work team for their efforts in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries, and reiterated his congratulations to the German government and people, and to the German community residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of German Unity Day.
For his part, the German Ambassador-designate to Bahrain expressed his pride in the presence of the Foreign Minister and the good and sincere feelings he expressed, stressing his country’s constant keenness to advance friendly relations and joint coordination with Bahrain to broader levels, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
