The activities of the eighth session of the Egyptian Theater Syndicate of Acting Professions Festival, which is held under the slogan “Theatre for the Audience,” continues, as today, Thursday, October 9, 2025, will witness the presentation of three new theatrical works, presented by a group of ambitious young people, as part of their endeavor to leave their mark on the Egyptian theatrical scene.
On the stage of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, the theatrical performance “When My Soul Is Out” will be shown at six o’clock in the evening, directed by Alaa Hour and written by Mustafa Hamdi, and it is expected to present a dramatic vision that touches the soul and delves into the depths of the human experience.

At eight o’clock in the evening, the audience will meet the show “House of Joy”, written and directed by Adham Shukr, at Al-Nahar Theater on Al-Qasr Al-Aini Street, where the show is expected to present a new presentation that celebrates life and humanity in a renewed theatrical form.
As for the conclusion of the performances, it will be at ten in the evening, at the Hossaber Theater, where director Mustafa Abdel Salam will present his directorial vision for the wondrous theatrical text, inspired by the poem “The Lemon of Life,” by the late great poet Fouad Haddad, and the text is written by Alawi Al-Husseini.
On the sidelines of the performances, the festival’s workshop program also concludes today, with artist Evdiokoumas Toskadis presenting a workshop on the art of improvisation at the Falaki Theater at the American University, a workshop that was widely welcomed by participants interested in the arts of performance and spontaneous expression.
With this momentum, the festival continues to emphasize its role as a vital platform for discovering new talents and providing diverse theatrical experiences to the public, with a remarkable attendance and great demand for all performances.
