The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities announced the holding of an additional evening for the “Ali Bahr” concert on October 12, 2025, on the stage of the Bahrain National Theater, in response to the large public turnout witnessed for the main evening, which was performed by the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Maestro Dr. Mubarak Najm, as tickets for the concert were sold out in record time.
This exceptional musical evening comes within the activities of the Bahrain International Music Festival in its thirty-fourth session, and is held in honor of the career of the late Bahraini artist Ali Bahr, one of the most prominent symbols of Bahraini and Gulf song. The orchestra will present a selection of his most famous works with the participation of an elite group of Bahraini artists, in a show that combines modern orchestral arrangements with authentic tones that formed part of the national artistic memory.
