Today, Thursday, the National Elections Authority continues to receive applications for candidacy under the individual system for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, for the second day in a row, at the headquarters of the applications receiving committees in the courts of first instance across the Republic.
Applications will continue to be received until nominations close on the date specified by the National Elections Authority, according to the timetable it announced, which also includes the dates for examining papers, receiving appeals, and announcing the final lists of candidates.

Earlier, Judge Hazem Badawi, head of the National Elections Authority, stated that the committees receiving applications for candidacy for the House of Representatives elections began their work regularly on the first day at all the headquarters specified by the Authority in the courts of first instance, from nine in the morning until five in the evening, and the number of those who submitted nomination papers reached 1,393 on the individual system nationwide, and the first day did not witness any nominations on the list system.
The Central Operations Room at the headquarters of the National Elections Authority, headed by Judge Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Authority, followed the progress of work around the clock, through live broadcasting and direct communication with judges and committee heads. The room monitored the presence of high concentrations in all committees that received candidacy applications in the various governorates. Coordination was made with committee heads and security directorates to organize attendance before the committees, and all documents submitted by those wishing to run were uploaded to the new electronic program that Prepared by the National Elections Authority to digitize documents and save them electronically.
