The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported, citing Israeli sources, that the first-phase agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip will not include the release of Palestinian prisoners who participated in the Al-Aqsa flood events on October 7, 2023.
She added, quoting the same sources, that the lists of Palestinian prisoners will also not include Marwan Barghouti and the four Hamas leaders whom Hamas demanded on the lists of prisoners.
He pointed out that the government will meet today to approve the agreement, and once it is approved, the Israeli occupation army will withdraw within 24 hours to the agreed upon withdrawal line, which includes the yellow line and the additional amendments approved by Israel.
He continued that Israel will withdraw from Gaza City, and Hamas will release the Israeli prisoners within 72 hours, in one stage and without an official ceremony.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas announced that it had reached an agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners and detainees with Israel, with Egyptian, Qatari and American mediation.
