The European Union stressed its commitment to preserving the integrity of local competitions and respecting the interests of the masses, stressing that these principles must be reflected in the future rules that the International Football Association will set.
He explained that the results of the consultations revealed a widespread rejection between the fans, the periodicals, the clubs, the players and the European institutions, for the idea of transferring the local league matches abroad, which strengthens the position rejecting this trend.
