Sir Kerr Starmer, the British Prime Minister, called on the police to suppress abusive chants in the pro -Gaza protests in the wake of the marches on the anniversary of October 7.
The British Prime Minister said that more efforts should be made to address this issue after hundreds of activists challenged his appeals to give the Jews a space for sadness on the Hamas attacks.

The suppression of Palestinian demonstrations

Protests in universities erupted throughout the country on October 7 after two years of genocide.

The demonstrations come less than a week after the Islamic Jihad Al -Shami group was accused of launching an attack on a Jewish synagogue in northern Manchester.
The police are scheduled to actually obtain new powers to reduce repeated protests by taking into account their cumulative effect.
But Sir Kiir said: I think we need to go further with regard to some chants that take place in some of these protests.
Speaking on a trip to Mumbai, where he leads a commercial campaign between the United Kingdom and India, he added: It is clear that operational issues are essentially a matter of the police, and therefore the government cannot do much, but I think we need to have a conversation with the various police forces about the way these forces are monitored and what measures that can be taken, and this must be part of the review that we conduct about the powers that we enjoy and how Its practice.
