The Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Assiut announced an emergency and sudden interruption of drinking water in the city of Assiut, as a result of an emergency malfunction in the deposit line of the main station of the Maraghi station in the West Assiut district.
Field maintenance teams operate at full capacity
The company confirms that field maintenance teams are working at full capacity and around the clock to complete the repair work as quickly as possible, taking all the technical measures necessary to gradually re -pump water as soon as the repairs are completed.
Due to the start of the current water outage, the company calls on citizens, bakery owners and hospitals to understand the situation until the service returns gradually, stressing that this interruption comes other than the previously announced interruption and scheduled for tomorrow within the periodic maintenance plan to improve the efficiency of the service.
The company extends its sincere thanks for the cooperation of the honorable citizens and their understanding of the inevitability of carrying out these emergency works in order to preserve the continuity and quality of the service.
