The German auto company BMW BMW announced today, Tuesday, its sales in the third quarter of the year, supported by its performance in Europe and the United States of America.
According to Reuters, the BMW Group made a quarterly sales of 588,300 cars, an increase of 8.8% compared to the same quarter last year.
The company announced the growth of sales in Europe by 9.3%, while sales in the United States increased by 24.9%.
For his part, BMW, a member of the Board of Directors of BMW, said: “The strong performance of sales in Europe and the Americas, as well as the MINI brand, is very encouraging.”
The results of the Bavarian auto manufacturer contradict the results of its competition, Mercedes, which announced earlier on Tuesday that its sales were decreased as a result of American import fees and the intensification of competition in China, which negatively affected its sales.
