The Tel Basta Museum in Sharkia Governorate opened the temporary exhibition entitled “The Great Egyptian Army of the Ages”, in celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The exhibition highlights the history and championships of the Egyptian army from ancient times until the modern era, as it includes a group of rare photographs that document the strength of the Egyptian army and the development of its weapons and equipment through various historical eras.

The exhibition also includes a bust of gypsum cloned by the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, the hero of war and peace and the owner of the glorious transit decision.

The exhibition was opened by the director of the Tel Basta Museum, with the participation of a number of the October war champions who embodied the most wonderful pictures of heroism and redemption, in addition to a distinguished presence of visitors and audiences of the museum who expressed their admiration for the content of the exhibition and the pride and pride it reflects the great Egyptian army.

The exhibition continues until October 30, 2025, to allow visitors to meet the opportunity to identify luminous pages from the honorable military history of Egypt.

It is noteworthy that the Tel Basta Antiquities Museum includes a group of artifacts that reflect the history of Sharkia Governorate through the ages, and sheds light on the product of the excavation work for Egyptian and foreign missions in the governorate in general, and in Tel Basta in particular, and to contribute to the preservation of society on its history and heritage.

The Tel Basta Antiquities Museum displays an artifact dating back to 5000 BC, which was initially used for hunting, then it evolved and became effective tools in wars, and appears on the walls of temples of the Pharaohs of the Pharaohs on the wheels, while they are fighting the users of arches and stocks.
