The Directorate of Health in Menoufia announced the results of the inspection and field traffic campaigns on private medical facilities within a month, in continuation of the implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, to intensify follow -up and control work on the health system to ensure the quality of medical services provided to citizens.

Dr. Amr Mostafa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, explained that the Free Treatment Department in the Directorate and Health departments in the centers carried out extensive campaigns on hospitals, private clinics, medical centers, analysis laboratories, radiology centers, nurseries and medical glasses stores, where 1065 medical facilities were passed in various cities and centers of the province.
He added that the campaigns resulted in the closure of 71 violating medical facilities, and 538 other facilities to avoid some observations, while 394 facilities were confirmed to the required health requirements, and administrative closure decisions are being issued for 62 additional establishments that have been violating the laws regulating.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed the need to continue to intensify the inspection and supervisory campaigns on medical facilities for various parts of the governorate, to ensure their commitment to health standards in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens.
