Director General of the Institute of Public Administration: The progress of Bahraini women enhances the sustainability of national economic growth

Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director-General of the Institute of Public Administration, confirmed that the Institute seeks to enhance a supportive work environment for Bahraini women in various fields, as an active partner in advancing sustainable development, pointing to the important role played by the Bahraini Businesswomen’s Association in supporting the progress of women, enhancing their institutional and professional presence, and their effective contribution to building the national economy.

This came during her participation in the discussion session “The Role of the Institute of Public Administration in Developing Leadership and Strengthening Partnership with the Private Sector,” organized by the Businesswomen’s Association and in the presence of Dr. Fatima Abdul-Jabbar Al-Kooheji, Chair of the Association’s Board of Directors, and a number of Board of Directors and Association members, along with representatives of a number of public and private sector institutions.

Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa bin Daij Al Khalifa praised the continuous efforts made by the association and its constructive cooperation with various public and private sector institutions, through organizing and participating in local, regional and international events concerned with the advancement of women. She also expressed her thanks to the association and its cadres for their constant keenness to exchange experiences and learn about best practices in developing women’s leaders, through specific initiatives and programs that contribute to refining leadership skills, enhancing administrative competencies, and raising the level of institutional performance, which reflects positively on the sustainability of growth in the national economic sector.
