During the past two days, a clip of a dubbed series that is shown on one of the famous platforms, promotes homosexuality and calls for freedom of expression, as if it is permissible and natural, but rather encourages a person to be “honest with his feelings” and is comfortable because he is an abnormal, away from leveling and nature.
The worse is that the work is dubbed into the Arabic language, and one of the characters appears in the veil, in an open attempt to pass this thought between the Arab and Islamic audience. This clip has sparked widespread dissatisfaction between parents, educators and social workers, and prompted many to call to boycott the platform and cancel its participation.
But the most important question: Where is the defect? How do we protect our children?
Such content is not limited to one platform, but has become widespread in most platforms, and is covered under bright slogans such as “freedom of thought” and “accepting the other”, while it is in fact an intellectual scum that seeks to distort human instinct.
Before thinking about the estrangement, we have to preserve the thought of our children, and that is only achieved by building educational and educational programs parallel to our time, and the creation of makers of thought and values before content makers. Unfortunately, some of the “content makers” today need themselves to “make thought” before they make content for others.
We need contemporary Arab educational programs, similar to what it was, “Open Sesame”, “Al -Manahil” and the cartoon series “Sinan” and “Bombo”. After her absence, childhood and innocence features were lost.
We also need an Arab organization concerned with the production of films and targeted cartoon films and series, rather than relying on the other to raise our children with an idea far from our values and culture.
We have to keep pace with technological development with the minds of our children, but by arming them with deep awareness and sound thought, because education today is no longer only the responsibility of the family, but a battle of consciousness that protects an entire generation from drifting behind the intellectual toxins that hide in the dress of art and entertainment.
