The delegation of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain will participate in the coordination meetings of the Arab Parliamentary Group, the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, and the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in addition to participating in the meetings of the 216th session of the Ruling Council of the Union, The General Assembly of the Federation, the Parliamentary Women Forum, and the Youth Parliament Forum, in addition to participating in the emergency meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union, which will be held on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union. It is also scheduled that the two Secretary -Generals of the Shura Council and House of Representatives will participate in the meetings of the General Trustees Association for National Parliaments, which will be held on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Union. For the Kingdom of Bahrain, it joined the membership of the International Parliamentary Union in the year 2003 AD, and for more than 20 years it was keen on active and positive participation in the meetings of the General Assembly of the Federation, in addition to the distinguished participation in the meetings, seminars and events that the Federation holds continuously, and addresses a number of important issues and issues.
