The aggression resulted in a widespread destruction of the infrastructure and work and production facilities, which flooded thousands of families in a cycle of living and psychological suffering, in light of a long -term suffocating siege and the exacerbation of an escalating destruction that affected all aspects Humanity in modern history.

Labor losses after the seventh of October 2023 .. shocking numbers and heavy human and material losses
The Palestinian Ministry of Labor revealed the size of the large losses that were affected by the work sector since the seventh of October 2023 until now, noting that the repercussions of the aggression have left catastrophic effects on the Palestinian economy and the labor market, and the losses were distributed on several levels that included material, human and institutional aspects.
The Ministry stated through the media office in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the losses of the Green Line workers from monthly wages amounted to about 1.5 billion shekels per month, to rise to 36 billion shekels within two years.
It was estimated that organized workers lost about 150 million shekels per month of savings, bringing the total in two years to 3.6 billion shekels.
The Ministry indicated that more than 160,000 workers have lost their job opportunities within the green line, in addition to losing the local market to more than 300 thousand jobs, which increased the rates of unemployment and poverty.
The report pointed out that the Israeli side is still holding clearing funds, which represent 68% of the public revenues of the State of Palestine, which exacerbated the financial crisis and directly affected the salaries of employees and financing development projects.
The report also recorded the martyrdom of 59 workers from the Green Line workers since the beginning of the aggression, which were called the martyrs of the living, in appreciation of their sacrifices in order to support their families.
The Ministry’s facilities in the Gaza Strip were severely damaged, as the cost of rebuilding and restoring vocational training centers amounted to about 7,812,000 dollars, while the cost of rebuilding the directorates amounted to about 2,430,000 dollars. The implementation of projects for the establishment of three vocational training centers in the governorates of Ramallah and Al -Bireh, Tubas, and Tulkarm were also stopped due to the financial crisis, as well as the suspension of vocational education services in Gaza and the other three centers over the past two years.
The ministry indicated that a number of Palestinian cooperative societies were severely damaged in various regions, and work is currently working to limit the losses accurately to assess the size of the impact and develop a plan to recover.
The Ministry of Labor affirmed that these shocking figures reflect catastrophic repercussions on the Palestinian economy and the labor market, calling for the concerted national and international efforts to rebuild and support the steadfastness of Palestinian workers, as the main pillar in the process of economic and social recovery.
