The Directorate of Health Affairs in Luxor Governorate has announced the details and procedures for the medical examination of potential candidates for the 2025 House elections, which started from yesterday and continues until October 16th, daily from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, while the period of drug analysis extends until 8:00 pm.

The Directorate indicated that the medical examination committees are distributed to the International Luxor Medical Complex (two committees), in addition to another committee at the Kumsion Medical headquarters in Naga Al -Tawil, while drug analyzes are carried out exclusively within the joint laboratory, to ensure accuracy and unification of results.

With regard to those with determination, the Ministry of Health has allocated them to detection only within the medical kumsion to facilitate procedures and ensure an appropriate environment for them.
Discovery and analysis fees of 10 thousand pounds and grievance with new fees
As for the fees, the Ministry of Health has set 5500 pounds for general medical examination, and 4500 pounds for drug analysis, noting that the grievance requires the payment of new fees with the same established values.
The Directorate emphasized that the results of the analyzes are completely confidential, as samples are first sent to the central laboratories in Qena Governorate, then they are referred to the central laboratories in Cairo in the event of positive results, so that any candidate proves its tests is excluded from using narcotic substances.

“Luxor Health” pointed out that the medical examination system for the candidates is electronically at the level of the Republic, allowing any candidate to conduct the examination in any governorate he desires.
The first days of the start of the detection witnessed an increasing demand from those wishing to run, as 4 candidates were examined on the first day, and 12 candidates on the second day from the various centers of the governorate, with expectations of the high numbers during the coming days, with the closure of the disclosure door approaching.
