Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Damascus, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, attended the process of voting in the elections of the Syrian People’s Assembly, which was held in the National Library in Damascus today, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the Republic, and at the invitation of Dr. Muhammad Al -Ahmad, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Syrian People’s Assembly and the Director of Arab Affairs in the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
The event was attended by a number of ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Damascus, and a number of observers for the local and regional elections, and political, economic and media figures.
