During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed a continuation of the development and services work in several areas in the governorate, within the framework of the directives of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, to improve the level of hygiene and infrastructure and provide the best services to citizens.

The development and raising of the efficiency of the old graves in the Al -Zuhur neighborhood continued, as it included raising the waste and garbage accumulated inside the corridors and squares in the graves, and the intensification of cleaning and maintenance work to preserve the sanctity of the foreheads, under the follow -up of Major General Amr Fikry, Secretary General of the Governorate, Muhammad Dargham, Director of the Governance Department, and Taher Al -Shuiha, the deputy department, in implementation of the directives of the governor to follow up on the performance in the field and take legal measures towards any Violations.
It also continues in the city of Port Fouad to develop and raise the efficiency of the housing of the National Party as part of the comprehensive plan to develop residential areas, where the works have reached advanced stages in the area from Al -Quds Al -Sharif Street to Al -Abbas Street, and from Nour Al Islam Street to Sheikh Muhammad Mitwalli Al -Shaarawi Street, and includes road expansion, the development of sidewalks and lighting, and the implementation of high -end Landscape works, as well as the establishment of a new sewage network that serves 118 properties.
In another context, Port Said University witnessed extensive preparations to receive a new batch of Jordanian students, as Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, was accompanied by them during their departure from Queen Alia International Airport heading to Port Said to start their new academic year. The students expressed their happiness at enrolling at the University of Port Said, which they described as an upscale academic experience that reflects the excellence of university education in Egypt.
On the other hand, the palaces of culture in Port Said Governorate and the rest of the governorates are preparing to launch a series of concerts and artistic performances starting from tomorrow, Sunday, October 7, as part of the Ministry of Culture celebrations of the glorious October victory, under the slogan “and the joy of Egypt”, with the participation of Arab music teams, folklore and religious chants to revive the spirit of victory and national affiliation.
Port Said Governorate confirms its efforts in all service and development sectors to preserve the civilized appearance and provide the best services to citizens.
