Cairo publishes 24 pictures that monitor the moments of a fire inside an exhibition of home appliances in the city of Shubra El -Kheima, Qaliubiya Governorate, which resulted in the injury of 5 people suffocating, including an individual of the civil protection forces, as a result of the escalation of thick fumes during attempts to control the fire.
The Shubra Al -Khaimah area witnessed, today, a state of panic among the people after the escalation of fumes from inside the exhibition and its extension to the neighboring streets, before the civil protection forces could completely control the fire and extinguish it without human losses.
Major General Ashraf Jaballah, Director of Qalubiya Security, received a notification from Major General Haitham Shehata, Director of the Civil Protection Department in the governorate, stating that the fire had occurred inside a household tools exhibition in the Shubra Al -Khaimah Police Department, and immediately the civil protection forces and ambulance teams moved to the place of the communication.
The forces pushed a number of fire engines, as they managed to surround the fire and prevent their extension to the neighboring real estate and shops, while the injured were assisted in the field by the ambulance team teams and left the report after their health improved.
The preliminary examination indicated that the fire broke out as a result of the ignition of some household and plastic tools inside the exhibition, and the exact reasons are being determined by the criminal laboratory team, and a report of the incident was issued and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
