The public deputies discussed in the meeting many issues and issues related to the performance of the devices and the technical and technical development and the state of judicial cooperation between them, the most prominent of which was the draft policy of enhancing cooperation between public prosecution agencies and public prosecution that was established in the light of the Sultanate’s initiative to enhance the judicial integration approved by the Ministerial Council, and the proposal of the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Bahrain to create a guiding law on the uses of artificial intelligence in the public prosecution’s work, The guidelines for dealing with the elderly in the investigation stage, as well as discussing cooperation with legal and judicial institutes and centers in the GCC countries in the field of training, organizing training courses to be held during the year 2026, and studying loan members to work for prosecution agencies in the countries of the Council, as well as the proposal of the General Secretariat to include judicial and fair cooperation within the framework agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded by the Cooperation Council with countries and regional and international organizations In order to enhance international cooperation relations and expand the scope of strategic partnerships with countries and regional and international organizations.
The public deputies also reviewed the public secretariat visuals regarding cooperation with the European Union Agency for Cooperation in the field of criminal justice “Eurozst”.
In his opening speech at the beginning of the meeting; Dr. confirmed. Ali bin Fadl Al -Buainain is that judicial cooperation is the main criterion in which the ability of the Public Prosecution and Public Prosecution agencies in the countries of the Council to direct their competencies in the face of crime is the one who actually translates the power of universal ties between the agencies.
He called for a focus in the field of training and education on developing the capabilities of the members technically and technically in the investigation, extracting and analyzing evidence in financial crimes, money laundering, technology crimes and the means developed in their commission. In his speech, the Public Prosecutor also called for the expansion of the types and sources of culture and not only limited to purely legal education, because education in various social and economic aspects and international issues would enable public prosecution agencies and public prosecution, as well as the application of the law in accordance with its wisdom and goals; From placing a contributing role in strengthening the positions and decisions of the GCC states at the national and international levels.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Public Prosecutor met with Mr. Jose de la Mata, Vice President of the European Union Agency for Cooperation in the field of criminal justice “Eurozst”, where they held talks on ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Public Prosecution and the Agency in the fields of international training and cooperation.
During the meeting, the Attorney General Moza Al -Nida was honored, head of the Appeals Prosecution Prosecution at the Kingdom of Bahrain, for receiving the Hamid Al -Othman Award for this year, which is awarded by public representatives and public prosecutors for the members of the Public Prosecution and Public Prosecution.
