The White House announced that the envoys of US President Donald Trump, Avi Wittakov and Jarid Kushner, went to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to discuss details related to the Trump plan for the release of Israeli hostages.
He explained that the visit comes within the framework of the American efforts to coordinate with the regional partners, especially Egypt, in order to advance negotiations and reach practical mechanisms to implement the release plan.
The White House pointed out that the humanitarian file related to the hostage is a top priority, stressing the Trump administration’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Cairo, and to support all efforts aimed at reaching a fair settlement that preserves security and stability.
