Dr. Jalila bint Al -Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, participated in the work of the eleventh meeting of the Committee of Excellencies and Excellency Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the eighty -eighth meeting (the fiftieth session) of the Council of Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council states, in the sisterly State of Kuwait, in the presence of Excellencies and Excellency Health Ministers in the GCC states and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council.
Excellencies and Excellencies have discussed a number of topics, the most prominent of which are the promotion of Gulf health integration, the development of joint systems and policies, and the support of initiatives aimed at upgrading the quality and efficiency of health services in the countries of the Council, in line with the paths of sustainable development and enhances joint Gulf health security.
The project to update the unified Gulf health strategy 2026-2030 was also discussed, and the “expatriate” program concerned with health procedures related to expatriate labor, as well as strengthening the unified purchase program for medicines and medical supplies.
At the end of the meetings, the importance of continuing efforts to implement the decisions and recommendations issued, in order to enhance the readiness of Gulf health systems and ensure the sustainability of their future programs.
