Dr. Hassan Al -Numani, President of Sohag University, led a huge march, as part of the university’s celebration of the glorious October War victories 52, accompanied by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Shawky Allam, the former Mufti of the Egyptian Diyar, Major General Bahjat Farid, the strategic expert and former director of the Defense College, Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Malik, Vice President of Al -Azhar University, and Dress St. Bakhoum, the artist and the media meeting Suwaidan, the Vice -President of the University, the deans of colleges, and a number of faculty and administrators.

Al -Numani said that the university is keen annually to organize a series of celebrations of the glorious October victory, which was achieved by the heroes of Egypt and our great army, and the enemy has taught a lesson that will not be forgotten in sacrifice, will and combat belief, stressing that the army of Egypt is able to deter and protect the country, so no one can approach our lands, pointing out that the October War is a different moment in our history, and we call for the development of the national sense.
During the march, the President of the University addressed a speech to the participating students, saying: “You will complete the process of building and development that are started by men who believed what they have pledged to God, so be responsible, and know that Egypt is waiting for a lot from you, and that science and knowledge are your weapon in the battle.”
The march witnessed a great interaction from the students, who chanted: “We carry the flag … and complete the march”, and the participants expressed their gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces and the police, stressing that the spirit of October will not die in the memory of generations.
It is worth noting that the march was launched in front of the university gate in its new headquarters to the University of Sohag National University, the march is a marathon running from the headquarters of Sohag National University to the International Convention Center to complete the activities of the university’s celebration.
