The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has set the conditions and procedures to be followed by the first secondary school students and their parents to receive the educational tablet device, within the ministry’s plan to generalize the digital transformation in the educational process in the secondary stage.
The ministry confirmed that the delivery of the tablet takes place after submitting the following documents:
A copy of the student’s birth certificate or his national ID card.
A copy of the national ID card.
Delivery of payment of 105 pounds of insurance via post offices, in addition to two pictures of the receipt.
The guardian signing the approval of receiving the tablet.
Acknowledgment of the delivery of the educational tablet device
The ministry also clarified that the student and his guardian signs an official declaration in which they pledge to preserve the device throughout the study period, with the commitment to return it after the completion of the registration in the secondary stage, whether by success or for any other reason.
The acknowledgment states that the guardian bears full responsibility in the event of damage or loss of the device, including paying the full value of it and the costs of maintenance resulting from misuse, provided that maintenance is carried out only in the approved Samsung centers inside Egypt, while pledged not to repair externally.
The Ministry indicated that this procedure comes within the framework of the ministry’s plan to support digital transformation and enhance the use of technology in secondary education, while maintaining the sustainability of devices and ensuring their readiness for future generations.
