In a world that ripples with challenges and problems, the stopping becomes a little and listening to the present moment is urgent. On this topic, John Kabaab Zain wrote a book entitled: “Where you Go, there you are”, meaning wherever you go, you are there. What is meant is that there is no point in trying to escape external from your problems, if the anxiety is inhabited within you, the real change begins with your awareness, because of the security of changing the place, work, housing, or traveling outside, because wherever you go, you will take this anxiety with you, then what is required is the journey inside, that is, to return to yourself, and learn the art of present consciousness, that is, mental vigilance Mindfulne, where every moment turns into an opportunity, And fullness in the sense. It is a deep reminder that the quality of our life is not determined by the place we go to, but rather to the conscious presence at the present moment.

The mental alertness is not a complex ritual or a traceable practice in long sessions, but rather is simply attending at the full attention of what we do: when we walk, talk, or eat our food, or even when we breathe. Many live as if they were a train on a train that stare in their phones all the way, so they do not turn to the beautiful changing scenery around them. Others read books or magazines quickly, they turn the pages one by one without stopping at the meaning, as well as others devoured food quickly, and they think about their problems without enjoying its taste, colors and smell. The present awareness brings us back to us, and makes us see the value of the moment instead of escaping it from our hands.

Meditation not only means external silence, but rather aims primarily to reach the inner peace, and the ability to face life as it is, as we want to be.

This practice does not change the surrounding events, but it changes our reactions to it, and gives us greater flexibility in the face of anxiety, sadness and fluctuations.

In the field of work, for example, the administration may impose new strict decisions that we cannot change, but we can develop ourselves, and expand our experiences to turn the change into an opportunity to grow. In relationships, we may face people who cannot change their nature, but we can adjust our method of dealing with them, and setting healthy psychological limits to protect us from them. As for the disease, we are facing a special wave, which cannot be paid or denied. Here the solution is not in anger or resistance, but rather in conscious adaptation to what the body imposes, by changing our daily lifestyles such as adopting a healthy food, practicing light physical activity, and organizing sleep hours. On the psychological level, accepting what is existing, and re -placing our priorities in life to become deeper and more satisfied.

Even in the details of daily life, the present awareness calls us to assume the responsibility of our internal experience, and stop suspending our happiness on external conditions. All we really have is to live at the present moment, that is, here and now, so that we can find inner peace if we are ready for positive change in the way we deal with people and events around us.

Life cannot live in trying to confront the waves, but rather by mastering the art of riding them with consciousness and reassurance even to drown, but rather to reach safety and reassurance.
