The Faculty of Medicine of Qasr Al -Aini, Cairo University, headed by Hossam Salah Murad, the Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cairo University Hospitals. Dr. Joachim Thiery, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Kiel University, on an official visit to the Faculty of Medicine, under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel -Sadiq, President of Cairo University.
Al -Aini Qasr: Establishing mechanisms to exchange students with Kiel University to achieve the greatest possible benefit
The reception was attended by Dr. Abdul Majeed Qasim, Vice -Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs; Dr. Omar Ahmed Azzam, Vice -Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; And Dr. Mahmoud Al -Fiqi, Head of the International Office, Faculty of Medicine, Qasr Al -Aini,; And Dr. Doaa Tawfiq, coordinator of the agreement between the Palace of Qasr Al -Aini Medicine and the University of Keel.
The talks came focused on a number of practical axes, including the establishment of mechanisms for exchanging students so that part of the students benefit from concession periods and mutual clinical training between the two sides, and to allow the training of Egyptian doctors in the facilities and laboratories of Kiel University, in addition to cooperation in implementing joint research projects and raising the level of participation in scientific research programs.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of this step in strengthening the academic partnership between Egypt and Germany, and establishing practical mechanisms for joint exchange and training programs, while developing a time plan to follow up the implementation of agreements and future understanding notes.
