Within the framework of the joint cooperation between the Bahraini Tennis Federation and its brother, the Saudi Federation, the Dammam Training Center in Al -Baraka of the Saudi Tennis Federation in Prince Saudi Bin Jalawi Sports City, hosted the first joint cooperation between the Women’s Committee in the Bahraini Federation and the Center, where a joint friendly championship that brought together the players of the Bahraini Tennis Federation with girls and women in the eastern region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was organized.

And participated in the championship by the Bahrain Federation of the Federation players for the categories under 14, 16 and 18 years, and the trained women within the evening program, in a move that reflected the interest of the Women’s Committee to develop the players, and provided them with the opportunity to participate in such matches to gain experience and see different levels in the game in a competitive atmosphere.

On this occasion, Jamila Al -Nashaba, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Tennis Federation, Chairman of the Federation’s Women’s Committee, affirmed that organizing these common friendly matches comes within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Bahraini tennis federation headed by His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, and his Saudi tennis brother headed by Mohammed Al -Sarrah, which aims to enhance women’s sporting relations and exchange visits and experiences acquaintance with new players.

Al -Nasaba added that the national team players, and the women won all the common friendly matches against their sisters, Saudi women, in the individual and marital matches that the championship witnessed.

The youth confirmed that the Women’s Committee has many activities and events for the girls of the national team and for women within the continuous training evening program, as part of its plan for the coming period, which is supported by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the president of the federation, and also indicated the organization of joint friendly friendly matches during the month of November.

The group of the national teams included: Hajar Zidan, Salma Faraj Allah, Layal Basil, Hanin Salah, Gram Issa.

In the most prominent results of the marital matches for the women’s category, Fatima and Bettal over the Saudi duo, Annan and Dua, were over 6/0, as well as the Bahraini duo overcame the Saudi marital Mashael and Nouf with a score of 7/5, and Dina and Maryam defeated the Saudi duo Annan and Duaa with a result of 6/4, and the duo Nila Al -Mir and Jamila Al -Nasaba won the duo Annan and Maryam 6/0 The duo is beautiful, and Nila El -Mir, on the Saudi husband, Mashael and Nouf, 6/3.

In the most prominent individual competition, the national team player, Haneen Salah, achieved a 6-1 and 6-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, in exchange for a single loss of 4/6.

The player Gram Issa achieved a deserved victory over the Saudi player, Juri Al -Baqshi, 6/0.

At the end of the tournament, Dr. Mervat Al -Kawai, head of the Dammam Training Center, presented a memorial shield to the Women’s Committee in appreciation of her efforts in establishing sports activities that support and enhance the role of women and upgrade women’s activity within the Bahraini Tennis Federation.

The Bahraini Tennis Federation also presented a representative in Mrs. Jamila Al -Nashash, Chairman of the Women’s Committee, Mrs. Naila El -Mir, a member of the committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Tennis Federation as a memorial gift for the Dammam Training Center of the Saudi Tennis Federation to host these common friendly matches, and to receive the supervising players of the Bahraini Tennis Federation.
