Dr. Mahmoud Saeed, Director General of the Nasser Institute for Research and Treatment, said that the institute currently receives 2 million patients annually, in all specialties, such as open heart surgery, neurosurgery, cord transplantation, liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, oncology surgery, and various advanced medical specialties.
In his interview with the media, the director of the “Studio Extra” program, added that the institute is managed by medical teams from the most efficient Egyptian university professors, and this is considered one of the elements of the force in the Nasser Institute, and the best doctors of the Ministry of Health with the highest degrees.
Director of Nasser Institute Hospital: We receive 2 million patients annually in various medical specialties
The Director General of the Nasser Institute Hospital emphasized that the institute has bright names in all specialties, saying: We are conducting about 12 open heart surgery daily with success rates of up to 100%, and that units such as marrow transplantation and hematology were among the first units of its kind in Egypt, as agricultural surgeries have been conducted for more than 5,000 cases, such as brain tumors, cerebral and heart attacks, in addition to tumors.
Dr. Mahmoud Saeed explained that the Nasser Institute is characterized by the integration of services, and this was one of the reasons for being a medical city, which is one of the few places in Egypt, which contains integrated and advanced medical departments, and at the same time the center of tumors.
