Engineer Mohamed Salah El Din Mustafa, Minister of State for Military Production, affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to implement the directives of the political leadership to constantly seek to localize modern industrial technologies in various sectors, increase the local component, and achieve added value to the national economy, in parallel with the permanent endeavor of the comprehensive development of all companies and units affiliated with the Ministry in the framework of strengthening the productive process, raising the level of quality and upgrading the level of employment in a way that enables the main task of the Ministry of Military Production The fullest extent as an essential pillar to meet the demands of the armed forces and the police and as one of the most important industrial arms in the country by taking advantage of the surplus production capacities to manufacture civil products that meet the needs of citizens and contribute to the implementation of many national and development projects, this came during the inspection tour made by the minister to the armored production and repair factory (200 Harbi Factory).
The Minister of State for Military Production started the tour by holding a meeting with Eng. Wafik Magdy Shafiq, Chairman of the Board of Directors (200 Harbi Factory), in the presence of a number of ministry officials and the National Authority for Military Production, where data on production rates were reviewed during the last period, development plans and the position of providing the necessary production requirements for employment, and the latest developments related to a number of projects that the factory implemented were followed up.
After the meeting, the minister, “Mohamed Salah” visited the internal and external exhibitions of the factory, which include a number of products of armored production and repair factory as well as a number of sister war production companies, which are manufactured in the highest quality.

During the tour, the Minister directed the need to exploit the resources in an optimal way to make the most of them, and to continue to take the necessary measures to improve performance and apply quality standards in production processes and adhere to the timing of implementation of projects (200 War Military) to implement them, apply the principles of governance and rationalize internal expenses and observation and pay attention to maintenance programs and adhere to their specified dates and periodic to preserve the technical status For production lines and prolonging their shelf life, stressing that workers must be committed to wearing industrial safety tasks and following professional safety and health instructions in order to ensure their safety during the work of their work tasks and in a manner that ensures the provision of a safe work environment that achieves the prevention of risks to the human and material elements, and the minister “Mohamed Salah” stressed that the armored production and reform factory is a major industrial castle and a model for integration and constructive cooperation with various local bodies And global in the fields of military and civil industrialization.
It is worth noting that the armored production and repair factory (200 Military Factory) manufactures many advanced military products, and the latest of these products is a missile that is on a armored vehicle with “Thunder 200” and the armored vehicle “Sina 200”, and the production line for the “K9” system is currently equipped with the system operating machines, which is one of the latest artillery systems in the world, and unlike its important role in The field of military manufacturing, the factory takes advantage of the surplus productive energies to manufacture many civil products such as (food carts, fuel tanks and mobile educational classes), and participating in the implementation of many important national projects such as green transport projects through the production of electrical buses “Setibus” in cooperation with the company “MCV”, and these electrical buses participated in the Climate Conference (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh and was done Delivery of (110) electrical buses for the Cairo and Alexandria governorates, in addition to manufacturing (100) electrical buses for the rapid frequency bus project, and the factory also participates in the project of transferring (2262) public transport buses to work with natural gas instead of diesel, within the framework of the contract signed between the ministries (military production, local development, oil, mineral and financial wealth and public transport bodies in Cairo and Alexandria, and in cooperation With one of the private sector companies, which is Jiushi for the manufacture of transportation, according to which these buses will be transferred through (6) stages, each stage with a total number of (377) buses, and the first stage has been completed completely and the second stage is being implemented, and the factory has a model complex for recycling the banana trees fibers to produce environmentally friendly cartoon packages, in addition to the production of organic fertilizer in the second stage of the project.
During the tour, the Minister was accompanied by Dr. Engineer Salah Suleiman Jabalt, Vice -Chairman of the National Authority for Military Production and Managing Director, Engineer Mohamed Sherine Mohamed, supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister’s Office Affairs, and a number of ministry leaders and the authority.
