These statements came after a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, Hossam Badran, announced that the movement is open to all the proposals of the solution. He said that Hamas “is open to all ideas and proposals for the solution, but without giving up its national constants.”
While an informed Palestinian official revealed that Hamas started today to study the US President’s plan, within its leadership frameworks and with the Palestinian factions. The official, who is close to Hamas, said that the movement “started a series of talks within its political and military leadership frameworks inside Palestine and abroad and will provide a response representing it and the factions.”

In turn, the Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman, Majed Al -Ansari, confirmed that his country handed over the American proposal to Hamas, explaining that “the time is still early to respond,” as he put it.
Yesterday evening, the White House published some details of this plan, consisting of 20 items, which mainly states the end of the war immediately if the parties to the conflict approved (Israel and Hamas).
It also stipulated that the Gaza Strip be removed from a Palestinian committee with international experts, without any Hamas role.
