Maher Al -Mahdi, the Egyptian ambassador to Chile, was keen to be at the headquarters of the Egyptian Youth Football Team Mission in Santiago to motivate the players before their upcoming match against the New Zealand team scheduled for eleven o’clock this evening Cairo time in the second round of the first group of the World Youth Cup, which is held in Chile.

The ambassador was received at the headquarters of the mission, Hamada El -Sherbiny, a member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and the head of the Pharaohs Mission in Chile, accompanied by Hamada Anwar, the team manager and all members of the technical staff led by Captain Osama Nabih, the coach, and the meeting was attended by Amr Al -Ghandour, head of the Egyptian community in Chile.
The Egyptian ambassador met in Chile, the players in a friendly session, during which he stressed his great confidence in them and their ability to delight the Egyptian fans by winning and defending with courage and argument about the colors of their country’s flag in this international wedding, which is rarely repeated in the life of football stars.
Maher Al -Mahdi continued to revive the players, stressing that they are the best, the most worthy, and the right to cross and continue the march and that all members of the Egyptian community in Chile are supportive of them and pending the necessary joy in the New Zealand meeting.
The Egyptian ambassador said to the players: You have to fight until the last moment in the match and invest the positive atmosphere witnessed by Egyptian sport and the qualitative leaps that call for pride in the youth and sports sector led by Minister Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, assuring them that luck only smiles for the warrior players.
For his part, Hamada El -Sherbiny thanked the Egyptian ambassador in Chile for his interest and care for the Egyptian mission since its arrival, Chile, stressing his great confidence in the players and their insistence on drawing a smile on the faces of the Egyptians today and in all the upcoming matches in the championship.
Likewise, Kabaka, the captain of the national team, thanked the ambassador on behalf of all his colleagues and pledged to win and do their best in order to delight the great Egyptian fans.
At the end of the meeting, Al -Sherbiny gave the Egyptian national team shirt to the ambassador, in an enthusiastic atmosphere and heartfelt, to achieve victory, crossing, and to continue the world championship.
