The Directorate of Supply in Dakahlia, headed by accountant Ali Hassan Abdel -Fattah, Undersecretary, concluded a week full of field tours and control over various sectors, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Sharif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Major General Tariq Marzouq, Governor of Dakahlia.

The tours of the Undersecretary included inspecting a number of service centers to follow up the level of performance and the speed of response to the requests of citizens, stressing the good dealing and facilitating procedures. The Mansoura Exhibition for Food Products on the Suez Canal Street also inspected to review the availability of basic commodities at reduced prices, in the context of mitigating the citizens.
In the same context, the fuel stations and warehouses were passed to follow up the regularity of work and ensure the arrival of the prescribed shares without manipulation, in addition to intensifying the ration campaigns on bakeries, under the supervision of Yasser Al -Saudi Al -Saudi, Director of the Supply Supervision Department, which resulted in the liberation of 83 various violations between decreasing the weight of bread, lack of commitment to specifications, poor hygiene, and disposing of the subsidized flour.
The campaigns also continued on the markets under the supervision of Dr. Shaima Al -Hindi, Director General of Internal Trade, and resulted in the seizure of 25 violations that included the sale at more than the official price, the lack of declaration of prices, and the possession of unknown goods, in addition to violations of commercial fraud and slaughter outside the Sultana.
Large quantities of commodities were seized, most notably 2 tons of flour, 200 kg of meat and inconsistent processed products, 60 kg slaughtered meat outside the Santhana, and 10 kg frozen livel
The Undersecretary stressed that the regulatory campaigns are continuing without stopping, to control the markets and protect the rights of citizens, stressing that “there is no negligence in the people’s strength, and there is no room for negligence in controlling basic commodities.”
