The Department of Supply Supervision at the Kharga Center in the New Valley Governorate launched, at dawn today, Friday, an expanded campaign on municipal bakeries after direct directions from Dr. Salwa Mustafa, Director General of the Supply Directorate in the governorate, to ensure the regularity of the disbursement of bread backed by citizens.
Traffic to a number of bakeries
Dr. Salwa Mustafa, Director General of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in the New Valley Governorate, explained that the campaign went through 10 bakeries, which resulted in the editing of 3 records by 2 not to hold a health certificate and the record of not cleaning dough tools, and legal measures are being taken against violators.
The Director of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in the New Valley confirmed that the campaign comes within the framework of the Directorate’s keenness to follow up the quality of the loaf of bread and ensure that it matches the prescribed supply specifications and weights.
Salwa pointed out that such campaigns come within an integrated regulatory plan that aims to tighten control over markets and bakeries, and to ensure that support is not leakage, stressing the continuation of these campaigns periodically to preserve the rights of citizens and address any attempts to manipulate the loaf of bread, which represents a strategic commodity for society.
For his part, Major General Mohamed Al -Zamlout, the governor of the New Valley, stressed that a warning warning is issued if the violation is repeated, stressing that the subsidized bread system is a red line, and that any manipulation of the weight of a loaf of bread or its quality is a prejudice to the rights of citizens.
The continued daily traffic on municipal bakeries was emphasized to ensure commitment to weights and standards and the application of deterrence mechanisms to all violating bakeries within the provincial supply specialties.
