Bahrain will win the ACAO President Award in appreciation of its excellence in civil aviation security

Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Communications and Communications, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain award the Prize of the President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) The product of the lofty visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the government’s efforts headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him. Pointing out that this achievement reflects the established commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop the civil aviation sector and develop safety and security standards in line with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

He pointed out that the granting of the Kingdom of Bahrain this award came after its achievement of an advanced compliance rate in the recent security scrutiny conducted by ICAO, in a way that confirms the efficiency of national legislation and procedures, and reflects the distinguished position of the Kingdom in this vital sector, and confirms the success of its efforts in promoting civil aviation security and developing the national system in accordance with international best practices.

The ACAO President Award is one of the highest international awards in civil aviation, as it is awarded to member states that achieve qualitative achievements in the areas of security, safety and sustainability. The Kingdom of Bahrain’s victory is the culmination of its efforts in supporting international cooperation, developing the air transport system, and consolidating its active presence at the regional and international levels.

Hussein Ahmed Al Shuail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Communications and Communications, received the Prize of the Chairman of the International Civil Aviation Organization Council (ICAO) on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain, during the opening session of the work of the forty -second session of the organization’s general assembly in Montreal, Canada. This international honor came in appreciation of the continuous efforts made by the Kingdom in enhancing the security of civil aviation and developing the national system in accordance with international best practices.
