Dr. Hisham Saeed, Vice President of Alexandria University for Graduate Studies and Research, stressed the support of expatriate students, overcoming obstacles before them, and providing all facilities related to registration, study and residence.
A Libyan delegation to increase cooperation with Alexandria University
During his reception, Saeed indicated a Libyan delegation to develop educational, administrative services and cultural and social activities that facilitate their integration into university life.
The Vice President of the University noted the efforts to expand international cooperation through the agreements concluded with international universities, programs and dual and joint degrees.
He pointed to the establishment of the international branches of the university, as well as its interest in creating Technology Park to link scientific research to the industry and market research outputs, stressing that this visit represents an important step to enhance cooperation with Libyan universities in various academic and research fields.
For their part, members of the Libyan delegation expressed their appreciation to the University of Alexandria and its prominent role in providing a distinguished educational environment for Libyan students, stressing their pride in the power of relations that unite the two countries.
The delegation affirmed the Libyan government’s desire to expand cooperation with the university as one of the most prominent educational destinations in the region. The delegation also praised the remarkable development witnessed by Alexandria University in its academic programs and various research activities.
This came in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ashour, Undersecretary of the Libyan Academy for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdel Samie Al -Siter, member of the Graduate Studies Committee at the Libyan Ministry of Higher Education, Muhammad Al -Hakili, Advisor to the Libyan Embassy in Cairo, and Dr. Hala Mukalled, Executive Director of the Department of Affairs and Care of Expatriate Students at the University.
