Dr. Badr Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians abroad, met today, Thursday, President Alexander Fotic, President of the Republic of Serbia, on the sidelines of the high -level work of the eighties of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Minister Abdel -Ati started the meeting by conveying the greetings of the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, to President Fuzic, confirming Egypt’s pride in its historical relations with the friendly Serbia state, and its keenness to continue to work in order to strengthen these relations and advance them to wider horizons in various political, economic, investment and cultural fields, and to achieve the interests of the two countries common.
A qualitative boom in the course of bilateral cooperation
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed the importance of building on what was accomplished during the high -level mutual visits between Cairo and Belgrade in recent years, which has contributed to a qualitative boom in the path of bilateral cooperation.
For his part, President Fuzic conveyed his greetings and appreciation to President Sisi, expressing his pride in the distinguished relations between Cairo and Belgrade, and asserting his country’s aspiration to continue its development at all levels.
