The Education and Training Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an open meeting with representatives of private schools and representatives of the Ministry of Education in the presence of Walid Kano, Deputy Financial Secretary, head of the coordination group of the sectoral committees, Dr. Sana Al -Haddad, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Planning and Licensing, Lulwa Al -Muhanna, Director of the Department of Licensing and Follow -up of Private Schools to discuss the mechanisms of developing the education and training sector in a way that contributes to the development of the educational process.

The meeting witnessed an open dialogue on the developments of the education and training sector in the Kingdom, supported by ambitious strategic visions that keep pace with the aspirations and plans of national development that the Kingdom is pursued by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country. the job.

For his part, Mr. Walid Kanoo expressed his great pride in the efforts of the committee and its role in enabling private schools to participate actively in formulating the future of education in a way that is reflected in all sectors in the Kingdom, including economic fields, noting that the Chamber seeks through these continuous meetings to enhance cooperation between private schools and the Ministry of Education with the aim of participating in developing the educational process and upgrading it and providing an advanced learning environment that meets the needs of students and keeps pace with future developments.

He added that, based on the Chamber’s program in its thirty session, it seeks to develop the infrastructure that keeps pace with the developments of the rapid future, the most prominent of which is the development of technological structure and the implementation of a comprehensive national strategy for artificial intelligence, and from here, enhancing cooperation with private schools comes within the framework of integrating these technological transformations in the educational process, in a way that contributes to raising the quality of education in the Kingdom and keeps pace with future challenges, stressing the need for everyone to work in this sector a clear message in this sector. Nabil’s goal, to take responsibility for future generations that represent the future of the country.

Kano explained that the participation of all parties related to the educational system in such meetings is a strong basis for the development of joint initiatives and contributes greatly to the design of educational solutions that contribute to improving the educational process, adding that this trend enhances the ability of the educational system to meet students’ needs in line with the requirements of the labor market and ensures the graduation of an educated and qualified generation that has the skills necessary to excel and innovate in the changing work environment, stressing, stressing This continuous cooperation between the public and private sectors constitutes a decisive step towards building an efficient and flexible educational future, and keeps pace with rapid developments in all fields.

In his speech, the head of the committee, Professor Youssef Abdel Ghaffar Al -Abbasi, welcomed the attendees, stressing that the meeting is held annually to open direct communication channels with private schools, listen to their opinions, developments and observations, in addition to the challenges they face, explaining that the committee will take into account all proposals to ensure the delivery of private schools and work to enhance the educational environment in the Kingdom.
