While the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries stressed the need to develop a comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, as well as its security arrangements, with international assistance to support the Palestinian leadership, the Politico website said, today, Wednesday, quoting six informed sources, that US President Donald Trump pledged in a meeting with Arab leaders that Israel would not allow Israel to include the West Bank.
In a statement issued by 8 member states of the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation after its participation in a “multilateral summit” with Trump in New York City, on Tuesday, at the invitation of it, and participated in its hosting with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, the participating countries confirmed the rejection of the issue of displacement and the need to introduce humanitarian aid to the sector.
At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron, who participated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sponsored the “Solution of the Two State” conference, spoke about his country’s plan on Gaza, which includes the ceasefire, the release of the hostages, and the formation of a transitional administration in Gaza.
Macron said in statements published by television channels that France’s plan includes the rehabilitation of police forces in Gaza, and the formation of an international mission to preserve stability, noting that countries in the region and abroad will participate in it. He added that the proposed international mission will obtain a mandate from the United Nations.
Trump and the multilateral summit
As for Trump, he described his meeting with the leaders and officials of the “multilateral summit” in New York as “great”, after his saying that he would work immediately to the ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israelis detained in Hamas in the Strip.
The meeting was attended by the Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II Bin Al -Hussein, Turkish Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Indonesian Praboo Sobanto, Pakistani Prime Minister Mohamed Shahbaz Sharif, Egyptian Mustafa Madbouly, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emirati Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Foreign Minister.
During which the leaders highlighted the tragic, unlikely in Gaza, including the humanitarian catastrophe and the heavy human losses, as well as its dangerous consequences on the region and its impact on the Islamic world, renewing the affirmation of the common position rejecting the displacement, and the need to allow the return of the departures.
They stressed the necessity of ending the war and achieving an immediate ceasefire in order to ensure the release of the hostages, and to allow the introduction of adequate humanitarian aid as that the first step towards a just and lasting peace, renewing their commitment to cooperating with President Trump, and the importance of his leadership in order to open horizons for a just and lasting peace.
The leaders stressed the importance of setting details of a plan to achieve stability, while ensuring the stability of the West Bank and holy sites in Jerusalem, expressing their support for the reform efforts of the Palestinian Authority, and their commitment to work together to ensure the success of plans and rebuild the lives of the Palestinians in Gaza.
The participants also stressed the importance of preserving the momentum to ensure that this meeting will be the beginning of a path on the right path towards a future of peace and regional cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Trump told reporters: “We want to end the war in Gaza. We will end it. Perhaps we can finish it now. ”
He added: “This is my most important meeting for me … We held 32 meetings here, but this is the most important for me, because we will finish something that may have never started.”
Not allowing the West Bank to be included
On Wednesday, the “Politico” website quoted six well -informed sources that the US President pledged to Arab leaders not to allow Israel to include the West Bank. The site said that two people described Trump as “firm” on this topic.
The site attributed to two other people familiar with them as saying that the American team presented a document specifying the Trump administration plan to end the war in Gaza and includes a pledge not to allow the West Bank to be included. This comes after Israeli threats to include the West Bank in response to confessions in the State of Palestine.
Stimulating endeavors
This came after efforts launched by Saudi Arabia and France to set a road map in order to reach a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implement the two -state solution, based on the ceasefire in Gaza and recognition of the State of Palestine, according to what Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud set during the high international conference held last Monday, and led to a series of historical confessions in the Palestinian state.

Trump discussed this issue in the White House last month, without providing any plan that defines the framework of the reconstruction and management of Gaza after the war.
It was expected that Trump and Wikkov will reveal the American plan to manage Gaza after the war, which former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was to develop in recent months, and was revealed last week.
Trump stated that the meeting included “all the main parties except for Israel, but this meeting will be the next,” in a clear reference to his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, next week.
He also praised the speech of Indonesian President Sobanto before the General Assembly, in which he said that peace requires guaranteeing the security of Israel.
“Good solution for everyone”
During his meeting with the United Nations with Macron, whose country was among several countries that recognized a Palestinian state, Trump told reporters about his meeting with leaders and officials of Arab and Islamic countries: “We will see if we can do something” to end the Gaza war.
He added, “We want to stop it. We want to restore our hostages, or their hostages. ”
He said while he was sitting next to Macron.
During the meeting, King Abdullah II Bin Al -Hussein affirmed the readiness of all countries to participate in working with the United States on a “comprehensive plan for the Gaza Strip that ends the war and suffering.”
He stressed that “reaching a permanent ceasefire agreement and ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid without obstacles representing a top priority.”
He also called for “taking measures to restore stability to the West Bank,” saying: “While we are working to resolve the conflict in Gaza, we do not want to witness another struggle in the West Bank.”
He warned that annexing the West Bank or changing the current historical situation in Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem would “undermine all efforts made to achieve peace and stability.”
The Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed also affirmed that his country supports Trump’s efforts to “end the war and the tragic situation in Gaza and to launch all the kidnappers, and all initiatives that would lead to ending the Palestinian -Israeli conflict and reaching a peaceful settlement that leads to the permanent peace and stability of the Palestinian people, the Israeli people and the region as a whole.”
He also stressed “the importance of avoiding the mono steps that undermine the efforts of the international community to achieve a two -state solution and establish an independent Palestinian state”, leading to “curbing extremism and terrorism in all its forms, imposing the rule of law, and giving priority to the values of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood in the region.”
Macron
For his part, the French President said, on Wednesday, in an interview with the “Al -Arabiya” and “Al -Hadath” channels, that it is underway to launch a plan bearing the name “Security and Peace for All” aimed at ending the war in the Gaza Strip.
He added that the plan “includes a ceasefire, the release of prisoners, the formation of a transitional administration in Gaza, the qualification of the police forces”, as well as the presence of a “international force” to preserve stability in the Strip.
The French president explained that “the international force planned to send to Gaza will obtain a UN mandate,” adding that “countries from the region and abroad will participate in the security and peace plan in Gaza.”
He added that “the negotiations on lands is one of the stages of establishing a Palestinian state,” adding: “We want to establish a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes Israel.”
He stressed that the Netanyahu government must “stop the bloody bloody race”, considering that “peace is the best way to protect Israel and restore its credibility.”
The French president also saw that “no one must agree to the annexation of Israel in the West Bank,” adding: “The annexation of Israel in the West Bank has nothing to do with the movement (Hamas) or the October 7 attack (October) 2023.”
Al -Arabiya channel quoted its sources that it is expected to announce an American plan on Gaza today. She stated that the plan includes ending the war and release the prisoners, as well as the gradual withdrawal of Israel from the Gaza Strip and the introduction of aid through international institutions.
Macron stressed that France’s relationship with Saudi Arabia is “based on friendship and confidence”, adding: “The depth of relations with Saudi Arabia allowed reaching the New York Declaration, and we have succeeded with Saudi Arabia to mobilize 142 countries to support the two -state solution.”
He also said that any possible closure of his country’s consulate in Jerusalem by the Israeli authorities in response to Paris’s recognition of the State of Palestine will be a “fatal mistake.”
