US President Donald Trump wrote on the “Truth Social” platform, on Tuesday, that after developing a more comprehensive understanding of the economic and military conditions in Ukraine and Russia, it became believed that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, can restore all its lands from Russia, describing Moscow as “a tiger of the paper” drained and struggled for fuel supplies.
“Russia is not a tiger. In the end, Russia is linked to the bear; there is no paper bears. Russia is a real bear.”
Despite his recognition that Russia is witnessing “certain tensions and problems in various sectors of the economy”, Peskov attributed this to “the huge number of economic restrictions and sanctions” faced by Moscow, as well as the global financial situation, and insisted that the country “maintains its flexibility and total economic stability.”
Peskov also rejected Trump’s statement that Ukraine is able to restore all its lands that Moscow seized, and insisted that Russian forces were making progress.
“The dynamics of what is happening on the front clearly show the real situation of anyone, even if it is little experience. The dynamics are clear. Our forces along the confrontation line are relatively confident. The Ukrainian armed forces suffer from heavy losses,” Peskov said.
