Engineer Adel Al -Najjar, Governor of Giza, held a periodic weekly meeting with a number of citizens of the Dokki neighborhood and the Al -Qanater facility center to listen to their complaints and discuss their demands, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to open effective communication channels that guarantee the meeting of citizens’ needs on the ground, within the framework of the state’s keenness to enhance direct communication with citizens and immediately respond to their problems.

In the Dokki neighborhood, the governor was charged with notifying the owners of a property on Tahrir Street of the necessity of the speedy restoration of the property in implementation of the decision issued in that regard and obtaining an engineering and technical report from a government agency in the case of the property, as well as directing the owner of a restaurant in the same property.
In the center and city of the Al -Qanater facility, the governor responded to the complaint of a citizen of the existence of violations of a municipal baking bakery by forming a committee from the Supply Directorate to examine the condition of the bakery, and in the event that he collects cards or seized any violations, the necessary legal measures are taken against him, provided that the committee is to be a member of the Supply Directorate, the city center and the representative of the electricity and departments concerned.
The governor also discussed the complaint of a citizen who is affected by the property owner facing his home not to adhere to the display of the street and the engineering drawing in the construction, as the governor directed the formation of a committee that includes legal affairs, the engineering office and the Al -Qanater facility center to examine the file planning and technically and the extent of commitment to the licenses granted to take the legal action.
The meeting also dealt with another complaint submitted by the citizens of the Nakla region at the Al -Qanater facility center, affected by the worry of the electrical network in the street, and the governor was assigned to quickly deal with the complaint immediately, as the representative of the Electricity Company stated that the electrical network will be replaced with a length of 300 meters and the completion of the necessary maintenance to ensure the stability and quality of electrical nutrition.
Engineer Adel Al -Najjar explained that direct meetings with citizens in parallel with field tours represent an effective mechanism to monitor the needs of citizens closely and enable them to submit their issues directly, stressing that all complaints are subject to serious study and the implementation of the proposed solutions continues in the field in line with the legal framework and technical standards.
