A number of the people of the city of Al -Arish in North Sinai Governorate complained of the delay in pumping water into some neighborhoods and residential areas, which caused the suffering of families, especially because of their daily dependence on water to meet their basic needs.

The residents emphasized that the announced pumping dates are not adhered to in some areas, which forced them to search for alternatives or buy water from the sale of filtered water.
For its part, the drinking water and sanitation company clarified in a statement that the water was not pumped to areas and neighborhoods periodically during the current period and demanded that citizens be rationalized.
The line connected from the city of Qantara Al -Arish today witnessed the explosion of the main line feeding the city, and the company confirmed that there are maintenance work that is currently taking place in the main line, which may lead to a temporary delay in pumping dates, noting that the maintenance teams are working to speed up the completion of the repairs and ensure the regularity of water arrival to citizens.
