Mahmoud Al -Khatib returned during the past few hours of Saudi Arabia after he performed Umrah after his travel after the club’s general assembly ended.
According to Cairo 24, Al -Khatib Council will meet today, Monday, in order to resolve a number of important files, on top of which is the upcoming club elections.
The source confirmed in his statements that at the top of these files, the results of the General Assembly of the Red Club that were held last Friday will be approved.
While the determination of the date of opening the door for candidacy will be discussed to run in the upcoming Al -Ahly elections, which will be largely in the next few days.
The date of the upcoming club elections will be resolved, which is supposed to be at the end of next October.
It is worth noting that Mahmoud Al -Khatib has not yet announced his decline regarding his last position on the failure of the upcoming Al -Ahly elections, after he announced earlier that he did not want to run in the upcoming elections due to his health conditions.
Al -Ahly’s General Assembly, which was particularly established last Friday, agreed to the draft statute of the club’s regulation after amending the new sports law.
