The executive bodies in the various centers, cities and villages of Menoufia intensified the work of cleansing and maintaining rain exchange rooms, and sub -networks in the streets and main squares.
This comes in the context of keenness to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure and provide a safe environment for citizens during the rains, in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, and within the province’s plan to prepare early for the winter and the rainfall season.

Local units officials confirmed that the units ’work teams, in coordination with the drinking water and sanitation company, have continued, since the early morning, to implement a comprehensive plan targeting all points that are witnessing gatherings of rain water.

The works include lifting covers, removing waste and sediments inside the sewers, wiring drainage lines, and examining the safety of the rooms to ensure their readiness to accommodate the expected water quantities during the winter.
The officials pointed out that the plan includes periodic field traffic to follow up the achievement rates, and to ensure the commitment of the teams to implement the instructions related to cleanliness and maintenance, as well as coordination with the governorate’s crisis management to follow up the situation first -hand.
They pointed out that the work continues with full energy until the completion of all the targeted sites, cities, cities and villages of the governorate, in a way that contributes to the speed of rain water drainage, and to avoid any accumulations that may hinder traffic or affect the safety of citizens during unstable weather waves.
