A medical source revealed new details about the incident of the death of the newborn twins, in the village of Dabraki of the Menouf Center in Menoufia Governorate, after obtaining periodic vaccinations within the village’s health unit, which sparked a state of sadness among the people.

The source confirmed to Cairo 24 that the two children arrived at the Sultan University facility hospital, and their bodies were transferred to the refrigerator of Menouf General Hospital, in implementation of the investigation authorities ’decision to initiate the medical examination and the necessary legal procedures.

He explained that more than 50 other children underwent the same vaccines on the same day and did not show any abnormal symptoms, pointing out that this indicates the safety of vaccinations and the lack of a general problem with them.
The source pointed out that the twins were born in the eighth month, and he stayed inside the nursery until its growth was completed, and it has a health problem, explaining that the competent authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident, while reviewing all the medical procedures that preceded the death.
Details of the incident are due to Major General Alaa Al -Jahar, Director of Menoufia Security, a notification from the Commissioner of the Menouf Center stating that a report had been received that two infant children in the village of Dabaraki, and immediately a security force moved to hear the family’s statements and investigate the circumstances of the death, and edited a report of the incident in preparation for his presentation to the competent investigation authorities.
