DUBAI – The UAE Council for Gender Balance held its first meeting with its new formation, which was recently adopted by the Council of Ministers headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, based on a new stage of achievements and continuing the council’s efforts to consolidate the gender balance in all sectors of the state and enhance its competitiveness globally, after the Council of Ministers’s decision to reorganize the council and enhance its strategic role. The meeting dealt with the next action plan, which is based on enhancing the principle of governance in light of the new organizational structure, and the expected efforts of the federal authorities represented in the council were reviewed to achieve national targets.
